Batis is a small and charming beach hotel, right on Rethymno’s coastal promenade, ideal for family vacation or for romantic couples. The hotel is in an excellent location with a stunning sea view of the Aegean sea and only a lovely short walk away from Rethymno’s old town.

Mari and Aris are the two young siblings that run the hotel.
The family component is what makes the team work energetic.

We are constantly there to listen and offer personal service with willingness, accompanied with a big smile. As an advantage of a small hotel, we have the bliss to be able to get to know our guests better, presenting them genuine holiday moments. With prompt assistance and multiple recommendations, we aspire to offer an one of a kind local experience , along with the beautiful Aegean sea enjoyment. The hotel dates back to 1993 when it first opened by insightful Katerina and Nikos the parents, as at that time only very few hotels where in the area. Since then, multiple renovations have taken place at Batis and this year we are delighted to say that we will be serving our guests from a beautiful roof garden with breathtaking views. One of the only top floors to be serving on Rethymno’s beach road.
